The goal of “Child & Family Support Services in Prescott Valley AZ” is to help those struggling with an addiction, alcohol dependency or substance abuse. “CFSS offers support services in partnership with many other local programs, which are focused on addressing family and individual needs, as well as providing the necessary assistance for the individuals who have the problem. CFSS strives to make all our efforts to work together to create an environment that helps to prevent substance abuse, and help those who suffer from it.

In Arizona, substance abuse is a growing problem. The number of substance abusers has been steadily rising in the last 20 years. In Arizona, drug and alcohol treatment centers are opening up, and substance abuse treatment is also expanding. “CFSS” was established to provide an area for substance abuse in Arizona by providing the needed resources and programs that serve our communities. The Arizona Substance Abuse Resource Center (ASARCO) is one of the centers that CFSS partners with. ASARCO was founded to bring together local agencies, organizations and businesses to provide comprehensive and coordinated services to those with substance abuse issues, as well as to those who know someone with substance abuse issues.

Substance abuse can often lead to many problems, including depression, suicidal thoughts and even suicide. These are serious problems and require treatment that takes the person’s health into consideration. CFSS takes the time to develop a plan for each addict and their family, providing assistance with both short-term and long-term care.
