Compass Recovery Center

Many people have come to me asking for information about Prescott so-called “sober living” homes. They may be concerned about what these residences offer for an addict or alcoholic. Prescott residents are given a chance to live their lives without using drugs or alcohol. They work toward becoming sober at home in a supportive environment. Prescott’s “spiritual center” provides the support and resources needed to help each addict and alcoholic achieve his or her sobriety and recovery goals.

“The Compass Recovery Center provides individualized treatments for gambling and substance abuse. We help our patients in helping to resolve the underlying problems that likely caused their addiction by working with them on the seven key areas of our program. We believe in the twelve-step approach and the importance of working with a sponsor to help our patients become accountable for their recovery. We also offer a twelve step based program for our residential program and want to give our residential programs in a safe, nurturing atmosphere that allows our patients to do the necessary work to build a solid foundation for their recovery.

“The Compass Recovery Center is a sober living treatment facility located in the Prescott community, which offers residential treatment for addicts and alcoholics. There are twelve treatment facilities, including a center for teens and young adults as well as a residential facility for addicts who are alcoholics. The treatment services at our residential centers include individual and group counseling, family oriented group activities, individual therapy, group therapy, and life skills training. Our residential programs aim at developing a patient’s spiritual life by preparing them for life after recovery, providing individual and group counseling, and developing a healthy work life.
