FOUNDATION HOUSE

Founded in 1875, the Foundation House is a one of a kind institution that serves people with different needs. They can access many services from them, whether that be mental emotional, or social services. They also provide a safe environment to foster relationships between children and their families. They also offer day care to children under their care. This is so that they can ensure that these children are in good hands. They also have a daycare that they use for an afternoon while there is a child at the day care, where they can take care of the child while the child gets ready for a school, after school, or other such event.

The Foundation House has a mission statement that says that it is a “Non-for profit organization dedicated to meeting the unique needs of persons with disabilities”. They have an outreach plan, which includes programs to help individuals with physical and mental disabilities get into jobs or other community services. They also work on helping people get services such as medical care, employment training, and education. They also work with children who have special needs, through their daycare. Their goal is to make these people feel as normal as possible and help them build a sense of self esteem. They work with professionals in these areas, so that they can provide them with the best assistance they need. They have over twenty full-time staff members that provide counseling services, medical services, and other services.
