Pathfinders Scottsdale is a new program that has been created in partnership with the Department of Public Safety to help prevent youth crimes. The program was started back in March 2020 by former sheriff’s officer John Skelton. He has since received grants from the local government and private foundations to fund his initiative. One of the reasons the program was started was because of a study conducted by the Arizona State University Center on Juvenile and Criminal Justice, which found that there was a large number of youth offenders that were coming from the Scottsdale area.
In order to help the young people involved with this program, Pathfinders offers free classes in parenting, community education and leadership. The classes will provide the young people with the skills they need to be successful in life. The classes are taught by the professionals themselves, who have many years of experience with kids and have been working with them since they were children themselves. They know exactly what the kids need and how to give it to them. They teach young people in their teens and even middle-aged people about sex, drugs, crime and life. The classes also teach them how to become more responsible adults and how to deal with conflict.
It is important for anyone who is involved with Pathfinders to work together as a community. Everyone can benefit from this program and they can get a lot out of the classes. If you are interested in being part of this community, you should contact Pathfinders Scottsdale at their website.
