More Information about Sober Living in Santa Cruz California
Do you know anyone who has experienced “sober living”? If so, then you can probably relate. Living “sober” means that you’re taking an active role in improving your health and the environment around you at the same time. Responsible Recovery Living is a community based organization that connects people who have an addiction problem with resources they can use to gain strength and support while reducing their dependence upon alcohol or drugs.
The goal of Responsible Recovery Living is to empower individuals, couples and families to take control of their lives and their future. Living at a halfway house is a way for addicted individuals to achieve this. A majority of our clients are individuals suffering from severe addiction issues. The goal of the halfway houses is to help them to achieve permanent sobriety.
Some of our clients include people who’ve been living with a drug or alcohol addiction for years, while others have only been battling substance abuse issues for a matter of weeks or months. Regardless of how long a person has been grappling with addiction, they’re always welcome to join the organization, meet other members and get the support they need to stay clean. The staff and volunteers at the halfway homes do their best to assist clients with their transition to recovery. Many clients report a higher level of personal well-being once they’ve decided to make a positive change in their life and begin receiving treatment for substance abuse.
