Flagstaff alcohol and substance abuse treatment programs are run by experts in the field of mental health and addiction. It has been around for many years, but only recently have they begun offering outpatient treatment and group therapy programs as well as residential treatment programs. What do we know about the Center? We know that it works to help people overcome their addictions to alcohol and drugs, while they work toward a healthier lifestyle. We know that they are committed to treating their clients with compassion and respect. And we know that they have been awarded a Certificate of Excellence by the Arizona Department of Health Services (Arizona DOHS).
The Guidance Center was established to provide outpatient, residential and intensive treatment to the residents of Flagstaff. The Center provides the necessary care for its patients who have been abusing alcohol and drugs since childhood. They treat people of all walks of life, all religious backgrounds and all levels of drug addiction. All they offer programs that will help the individual overcome their addictions, both psychological and physical, and create a new and productive life. Each program at the Center uses an individualized, evidence-based approach to help the patient with their drug addiction and alcohol addiction. In addition, they offer other mental health services including education, self-help and family support. The Center also works closely with the community to provide resources and education to the entire community.
One of the best parts about the Center is that they give their patients the chance to live a sober and productive life after their treatment is completed. After treatment, the Center gives the patients a variety of community services and outreach programs designed to help them become more independent and to help them rebuild their lives. Their program is based on the principles of Alcoholics Anonymous and NAA, which are internationally recognized 12-step programs. These programs are designed so that the client can return to their lives after their treatment to feel empowered and comfortable with their decision to enter recovery and have an easier time adjusting to life on their own. The center provides free and confidential, one-on-one counseling as well as group therapy.
