Sober living homes, also known as sober homes, sober living facilities and detoxification centers, are facilities which offer structured and safe living conditions to individuals who have come out of drug rehab programs. The main objective of an SLH is to assist the person in quitting drugs by giving him or her all the support they need to make it through the withdrawal period and back to their normal lifestyle. Many of these facilities even offer legal advice for those who want to go back to their old ways.
