STEPS HOUSE CENTER FOR HEALING

The Steps House Center for Healing in Phoenix AZ is a unique faith-based healing facility that was founded over four decades ago. This center is dedicated to providing spiritual healing services for those who may need it and they work hard to maintain the highest quality of their services by keeping up a clean, healthy environment with the utmost care. This center specializes in helping individuals overcome addictions to alcohol, nicotine, drugs, and other substances. They do all that they can to ensure that each of their patients feel safe and comfortable and come out the other end of the experience feeling refreshed, renewed and full of hope.

The center was established in 1985 by Steve Stevenson, who is also known as “Dr. Steve”. He was inspired by his mother to become a nurse and he wanted to help others achieve spiritual health. Dr. Stevenson knew that addiction is not only physically destructive, but emotionally as well. He felt strongly that if addiction could be treated, then people would be happier and healthier and they would also have a stronger family unit. He believed that in order to provide a drug and alcohol addiction recovery center, it needed to have a strong spiritual component and this was the focus of his center.

During Steve Stevenson’s time as director of this center, they have seen an exponential growth in the number of patients who have been helped by this program. Dr. Stevenson was quoted as saying “we never dreamed we’d be serving hundreds of thousands of people in Arizona, let alone in Arizona”. This is a large state and they serve people from all walks of life. They have helped people that have addictions, substance abuse problems, or have just lost someone that was a part of their family. People from all religions, races and backgrounds have benefited from the treatment and services provided by this unique center for healing.
