SLHs usually serve as an interim transitional environment between these programs and normal, everyday society. As a result, they provide the dual-role of serving as a residential drug treatment facility while also providing a clean, well-run living environment for their residents. Most people entering a substance abuse treatment program find it difficult to transition back into their normal lives while receiving intensive treatment.

Sober Living Homes offers both inpatient and outpatient treatment programs at its residential drug rehab facility. Inpatient treatment programs offer intensive, life-saving, and comprehensive treatment for an individual.
