Crisis Response Network

Crisis Response Network (CRNET) is a local crisis intervention service that provides assistance with an emergency situation, whether it is an act of violence, or a medical emergency. Crisis Responders are trained to provide assistance immediately, and is often able to connect you with the appropriate agencies quickly. They also provide emotional support during the crisis, as well as a phone number to return to, and an e-mail address so they can be contacted at any time. Crisis Response Network can also coordinate local agencies with an emergency situation to further help you. In addition to crisis response services, CRNET also offers a free and confidential helpline that is available to anyone in need of immediate assistance. They also provide online resources that can help you find the right assistance for your situation. Their goal is to make life as comfortable as possible for those people who may be facing an emergency situation.

Crisis Response Network was formed by the Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) in 2020. The program is based on the premise that a person experiencing an emergency situation is not necessarily aware of what options are available. Instead, a person may become confused and feel helpless. By providing a local crisis intervention service to address this issue, CRNET hopes to provide a calm and comforting environment for the victim, in order to encourage him or her to seek out help and get the appropriate services.

Crisis Response Networks is run by a Crisis Intervention Team (CIT). They include people like nurses, paramedics, police officers, and psychologists. They have extensive experience in the health and mental health fields, so they know which agencies are the best for the person in crisis. CRNET is committed to providing the best services possible, and they are fully prepared to connect you with the appropriate agencies and provide the resources you need to address your emergency.
